–A fine of AED 50,000 will be issued to those who:
- Refuse mandatory hospitalisation or continue to take prescribed medicines despite being informed.
- Do not comply with specific home quarantine guidelines.
- Do not comply with quarantine measures at private institutions as determined by authorities and refuse to get tested again as per the procedures pertaining to health.
–A fine of AED 2,000 for people leaving their homes during non-curfew hours except for buying essential things or other important jobs.
–A fine of AED 3,000 for people leaving their house during announced curfew hours and going out for matters other than buying groceries, medicines or for vital jobs and health emergencies.
A fine of AED 1,000 for having more than two riders in a taxi or car.
–A fine of AED 1000 for those who:
- Neglect to wear protective masks in indoor places. This applies to those who have chronic illnesses or show cold and flu symptoms and fail to maintain social distancing.
–A fine of AED 50,000 for those bodies who:
- Violate the rules of closure of parks, cinemas, shopping malls, educational institutions, cinemas, markets, gyms, cafes and clubs.
- Opening beaches, swimming pools, sports centres, parks, hotel parks without taking any preventative measures issued by the authorities.
–Fine of AED 500 will be issued to those who visit the above places.
–A fine of AED 10,000 will be issued to those who organise meetings, celebrations or gatherings. The partakers will also be fined AED 500.
–A fine of AED 2000 will be issued to passengers arriving from other countries affected by COVID-19 if they fail to comply with the precautionary measures set by the Ministry of Health and Prevention.
–A fine of AED 3,000 for:
- Neglecting to take safety and health measures regarding regulation of public spaces, roads and markets that are excluded from closure
- Refusal to dispose of any contaminated clothing, material or luggage. This also includes materials that can’t be disinfected by standard methods.
–A fine of AED 1000 for non-essential visits to health facilities.
–A fine of AED 5,000 for those who refuse to get tested upon requirement.
–A fine of AED 5,00 for those who fail to follow the disinfection protocols regarding public and private transportation.
The repeat violators of the above-mentioned rules will be fined doubly. If the violation is committed for the third time, the offender will be turned to the Emergency and Crisis Prosecution Department at the Federal Public Prosecution.
