If you are looking to upgrade your used car in Dubai this year, there are plenty of brand new options in the market. No matter what your taste and budget are, there is something for everyone. Some of the cars on the list have already been revealed while some of them will be launched later this year. Here are some rides that you might fancy:
Ford Bronco
The last Bronco was made back in 1996 and now the car is expected to make a comeback in 2020 as Ford confirmed in January that it’s going to be one of the five vehicles that will be unveiled over the course of the next 24 months. It will apparently be manufactured alongside the Ford Ranger at the company’s Michigan Assembly Plant. The Bronco will reportedly be a body-on-frame SUV and it is presumably being engineered in Australia. As a refresher, that’s where the current Ranger was developed too. It remains to be seen whether it will be a two-door or four-door vehicle.
Porsche Taycan
This is going to be Porsche’s first electric car and the sedan will hit the showrooms later this year. With a range of 310 miles and 600 lithium-ion-generated horsepower, the car will go neck in neck with Tesla’s Model S. It will be interesting to see how the company’s upcoming car holds up without an internal combustion engine. The car will reportedly be unveiled in September during the Frankfurt Motor Show.

Toyota Supra
Toyota finally unveiled its first Supra in 21 years in January. The car will go on sale in the U.S. in summer 2019. The new 2020 Toyota Supra has taken inspiration from the last Supra, which made a debut in 1993. The car packs in a 335 horsepower turbocharged inline-six cylinder engine and features an eight-speed transmission with paddle shifters. Per Toyota’s claims, the car can go from a standstill to 60 miles per hour in just 4.1 seconds. It tops out at 155 mph. Inside, there are also technical features such as a digital instrument panel.
C8 Chevrolet Corvette
Mark your calendars, as Chevrolet is going to reveal the C8 Chevrolet on July 18. This means we are a couple of months away from the launch of the mid-engined car. Apparently, the launch event will take place in Southern California. While details about the supercar are scant, rumour has it that it will come with a 6.2-litre V8 engine and a dual-clutch gearbox. However, a three-pedal arrangement is also not unlikely.
Land Rover Defender
A lot of spy shots of the rugged 4×4 have already made it to the internet, although most of the leaked pictures showed the car in its prototype form. Per Jaguar Land Rover’s communications and PR general manager, Tim Krieger, the Defender will be unveiled later this year but it won’t go on sale until 2020. For the first time since 1997, the new Land Rover will also be sold in the U.S. but it might come with a jaw-dropping price tag of $55,000. Apparently, the new car will look nothing like the original one and it remains to be seen how this will bode with the fans of the iconic vehicle.
