Dubai Roads and Transport Authority has rolled out a new service to make it easy for clients to pay their RTA fines for vehicles that are registered under the federal traffic system in the UAE. Clients will now be able to pay easy installments through credit cards. Whether you are selling car or intend to buy car in Dubai, this service is convenient for everybody!
The service has been introduced in a strategic attempt to create user convenience and economic sustainability.
Ahmed Al-Kaabi, RTA’s Executive Director of Finance at the RTA’s Corporate Administrative Support Services Sector said, “The RTA has launched this service to enable clients to pay fines due to the RTA in easy installments through credit cards over a period of one year without incurring bank interests.”
The service is currently available for the following banks:
- Mashreq bank
- Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank
- Dubai Islamic Bank
- Emirates NBD
- Noor Bank
- Emirates Islamic Bank
- Commercial Bank International
More banks will be added to the list in the future and the payment can be made through the RTA Dubai app. The service is available to all the cars in UAE and has no limits on the amounts due to the RTA. It is different from the regular cheque payment system which only allows vehicles registered in the Dubai Traffic System. Installments are allowed only if the fines amount to 5000 AED for individuals and 20,000 AED for companies.
Before you sell any car, it is important that you clear all outstanding fines or payments, and doing so would be much easier with the new service.
But if you are dreading the hassle, let CarSwitch.com deal with the paperwork at the RTA on your behalf, whether you intend to sell any car or buy new or Dubai used car! Get ready for an easy and trouble-free switchin’ experience!
