The automobile industry will always be appreciated for the most radical custom designs, which are often very different from our standard used cars in Dubai. After all, countless hours and manpower go into making several prototypes before finally settling on one design and that’s no easy feat. A lot of gearheads have mastered the art of transforming ordinary cars into eye candy. It’s challenging to make a custom car without manpower and resources, while relying solely on the essence of passion. CarSwitch.com has put together a list of five of the most impressive custom cars made by gearheads.
1 – 1928 Ford Model T
A Ford Model T from the year 1928 featuring a custom job is one of the best things you can lay your eyes on. The Japanese auto shop Paradise Road will help you experience a blast from the past with this paint job that has completely transformed the car. The 1928 classic’s original shape was slightly altered in order to fit in the inner tubing. With all that effort, it will certainly cost a lot right? That’s correct, it carries a $1 million price tag and if you’re an avid collector with deep pockets, perhaps this could be your next purchase.
2 – Eagle’s Curvy Speedster
The efforts of British company Eagle has been recognized when it comes to customizing Jaguar E-Types. They’ve been at it for the past three decades, with their best work yet being the curvy Speedster, which was originally designed for a client of theirs. Eagle executive Paul Brace and his team invested nearly 4000 hours in constructing this beauty of an automotive and you can see from the final product, they didn’t let a single hour go to waste.
3 – Mercury Marine’s Dodge Charger
This vehicle was designed by Mercury Marine and it features a carbon fiber exterior paired with a boat engine, giving it immense drive power while being lightweight at the same time. Lead builder David Salvaggio even admitted that incorporating a boat engine was overkill.
4 – Gene Winfield’s Citroën DS
The Citroën DS gave Gene Winfield sufficient motivation to come up with this beauty. Featuring an aluminium chassis that’s hand-made, the custom vehicle that probably has your jaw dropped to the floor has appeared in several movies, such as from Star Trek, Batman, and Mission Impossible.
5 – Randy Grubb’s Blastolene B702
It’s immensely difficult to maintain a car’s vintage aesthetic while making it look like a product from the future but Randy Grubb’s perseverance enabled him to make the Blastolene B702 appear like magic. The vehicle sports a hand-made aluminium chassis, along with a blue glass grill. Inside, you’ll find maroon leather interiors and if your brain ever mistakenly told you that the colour of this car is black, it’s actually midnight blue.
