The new 2020 Audi A4 range, which includes the regular A4, S4 and AllRoad, has received a subtle yet convincing facelift. The most prominent change in the 2020 Audi A4 is its refreshed front. It gets a refreshed front fascia with a lower yet broader new grille. The front also sports a fresh pair of headlights with a prominent line of LED daytime running lights along with larger air intakes. These changes give it a more aggressive look while increasing its athletic stance.
The rear receives some mild changes as well. The redesigned bumper displays a new grille with trapezoidal air intakes instead of the circular ones.
The A4 range will offer six engine options with an output between 148 hp to 342 hp along with three transmission options which include 6-speed manual, 7-speed dual-clutch and an 8-speed automatic transmission. These engines will range from a 4 cylinder to a 6 cylinder powerhouses. The Audi S4 which has a 3.0L turbocharged 6-cylinder diesel engine might not be sold outside Europe.
We are already aware of Audi’s focus on electric vehicles and increasing sales with its plans to discontinue Audi TT in the future. So, the addition of a mild hybrid to the A4 shouldn’t come as a surprise. Among these 6 engines, 3 of them will have a mild-hybrid system although there is no update on which ones at the moment.
Moving on, there are no massive updates on the interior front but the new Audi A4 will sport a new infotainment system. Instead of the previous rotary knob, it will have a 10.1 inch touchscreen for infotainment along with the latest MMI upgrade.
This new A4 range will be on sale later this year and will arrive in the UAE shortly afterwards.
