The 2019 Nissan Maxima has officially been launched in the UAE. It’s being seen as a facelift because hasn’t been designed and engineered from scratch. Still, it is one of Nissan’s most expensive cars for sale as far as sedans are concerned. Here’s everything you need to know about it.
One change that can be found in the latest edition of Maxima is the absence of a 4-Door Sports Car Badge. If you are interested in buying the 2019 Maxima, there are three price variants available in the UAE. The base model costs AED 141,500 SV, followed by the AED 160,500 mid-level SR1 and finally, the AED 163,000 full-option SR2 model.
The 2019 Maxima Packs In A 2019 Maxima Engine
If you feel that the 2019 Maxima isn’t your cup of tea, there are several other options ranging from Toyota’s Avalon, Chevrolet’s Impala, and Dodge’s Charger to choose from. Coming to the engine, the latest vehicle is fueled by a 3.5-litre V6, along with a retuned Xtronic CVT gearbox. The elements that remain the same between the latest edition and its predecessor is the exterior and interior dimensions. This means that the actual volume and sitting space remains the same in this car.
The top-end model sports a slew of features ranging from automatic full-LED headlights, 19-inch alloy wheels, split sunroof, adaptive cruise control, leather interior, cooled front seats, active noise cancellation, dual-zone climate control, ambient lighting, remote engine start, and an 8-inch touchscreen with built-in navigation. Best of all, you can customize the LCD to come with either Android Auto or Apple CarPlay support. There’s also an 11-speaker Bose sound system to deliver audio fidelity at its finest.

The New Car Also Features A Number Of Safety Controls
Some nifty emergency features present in the package include intelligent trace control, forward collision warning, and auto-emergency braking with pedestrian detection. When it comes to the performance of the Nissan 2019 Maxima, you should expect a decent run. The V6 engine is capable of 300HP and 354NM of maximum torque. If you want a little more speed, there is also a Sports mode and made primarily to see how fast it can go in a given number of seconds. According to the company, the Maxima can reach 100km/h in less than 6.5 seconds, with top speed reaching 210km/h.
If you don’t stress the engine too much, the 2019 Maxima can give you around 100km for 10.5 litres, which isn’t too bad considering what it’s capable of. However, you’ll have to be wary of the SR, which is the sports variant. While it might give you the smoothest of rides on a clean surface, it might not give the same experience on a different road, so check additional details before deciding on your purchase.
