About AED 116,000 buys a 2024 Tesla Model 3 in our closed UAE sales, with a 2022 averaging AED 88,000, a 2021 AED 75,000 and a 2020 AED 56,000. A recent car costs roughly 31% less than the cheapest new Model 3. Live asking prices run from roughly AED 50,500 for a 2021 up to AED 120,000 for a 2024.

There is almost nothing in it to fail. The real question is battery state of health, which no walk-round shows. Charging is the easier one: public provision across Dubai and Abu Dhabi is well established and still growing, and if you can plug in where you park an urban Model 3 barely touches it.

The BMW 530 is the driver's car at similar money, with a good panel record — 52% showing prior repair against the 64% expected for saloons of its age and mileage. The Mercedes C300 costs less and returns about 50%.

2021 to 2023 is the value window. The 2021 update brought a heat pump and a double-glazed cabin, which matter in this climate; the Highland restyle arrived at the end of 2023 with a quieter body and a new interior.

Level with its class and well clear of the rest of the Tesla range — about 45% of its value after five years, exactly what comparable saloons of the same age return. The larger Model S sits at about 25%.
