2013 onward for the facelifted front end and V6 option in its final, most sorted form. Earlier 2010 to 2012 cars are the same platform with a plainer interior and fewer safety features.

The BMW 318 costs far more but posts a cleaner interior condition record. The Mini Cooper costs far more too and shows a similar electrical fault pattern. Elsewhere in the Hyundai range, the Hyundai Accent is the cheaper, practical alternative if a coupe is not essential.

  • V6 or turbo four service history, including timing components.
  • Signs of track or spirited use on tyres and brakes.
