Frequently asked questions

There is no generation or year story to point you toward on the CS85 yet — treat warranty coverage and the individual inspection report as the deciding factors instead.

The Nissan X-Trail, similar money, is the safer electrical bet by a wide margin, with a fault on just 2% of cars against an 11% expectation for mid-size SUVs this age. The Jeep Grand Cherokee, also similar money, inspects cleaner on bodywork too, at 56% against a 65% expectation for its class — both come with a longer track record than the CS85 can offer yet.

CS85s we inspect in the UAE sit at a median of around 109,000 km, higher mileage than you will see on some of its own siblings, and our checks are not turning up anything that suggests it cannot keep covering distance.

  • Remaining warranty and second-owner transfer terms.
  • Dealer and parts network coverage.
  • Electrical systems, worth a close look on any newer-brand SUV.
  • Interior wear against the odometer.
  • Air conditioning performance.

Give the established rivals a look before you settle on a CS85, then let the inspection report decide if the newer badge is worth the saving.
